When I grow up…

What did you think you would be when you grew up? Have you realised your dream?

Whatever you wanted to be, I know I hope my offspring will be kind, believe in equality and be able to express themselves .

This is where the concept came for the “When I Grow Up” poster collections. I wanted some gender neutral designs that didn’t push a colour onto them, but would be something fun, and positive that they would aspire to be. I know, it is a label of a kind, but if they choose the design, or have already hinted at an interest in representing these ideas, then I think they’re a great way for kids to express and define themselves through their environment - and often a great place to start is their bedroom style.
