How to perfectly place your sticker

Here’s our guide to putting your stickers up onto a mirror, laptop, back of a phone, tiles, fridge or window.

To start with, make sure your surface is nice and clean and dry. Using an alcohol-based cleaner will cause any liquid to evaporate, but if you don’t clean the surface this way, just make sure it’s dry and there aren’t any dust or bits on the area.

Be confident where you are placing the sticker - hold it up, or mark it to make sure you’re happy before you make the big move. Get a credit or store card handy - after you peel off the back of the sticker and place it using the clear transfer tape this card will be your best friend in achieving a smooth finish. Using the card, rub the design onto the surface, the mirror in this instance, and make sure you rub the card into each corner or edge of the design or letter. You can smooth out any bumps at this stage working from the bump to the edge of sticker - releasing any air bubbles that may have arisen.

Now comes the satisfying bit! Slowly peel off the clear transfer tape, leaving your design stuck to the mirror, carefully making sure each element of the sticker is staying on the surface. Step back, admire your handiwork and take a cute photo! View our stickers…
